WIPO (World Mental Residence Organisation) has recognized the Indian Patent Place of work as an Intercontinental Looking Authority (ISA) and Intercontinental Preliminary Inspecting Authority (IPEA) beneath the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).

The recognition as an ISA and IPEA would be helpful for India in many approaches.
